Successes for Kennel "von der Emsmuehle"


The most important exhibition of the year is the "Exposition de Longchamp 2000". This Show took place from 16th to 18th June 2000.

5 Irish Terrier had been entered. Judge: Mr. Nick Hammond - Ireland

Best of Breed (BOB) that day was nominated CH Brazan Riesling.

 

- September 10th, 2000 - Leipzig - CACIB - Dog Show


Having a total of 11 Irish Terriers entered the International Show of Leipzig was quite well visited. Mr Selle (D) was the judge for our breed. He decided on Xtra Autumn Gift Capella, the dog in the Junior Class. Best Dog and Best of Breed became Bonaparte von der Emsmühle, the winner of the CACIB. With the bitches Bhoreen vom Akazienhain won the CACIB.

With the following group competition Bonaparte once more was placed: he won rank 2. Once again a fine success for this male, who showed off with his excellent movement and knew how to convince.

- August 26th, 2000 - Stuttgart - CACIB - Dog Show


For the International Show of Stuttgart 14 Irish Terriers had been entered - quite a good result.
Mrs E. Clerc (CH) was the judge on that day.

She decided on the following dogs:

The finale "Best Terrier in Show" was judged by Mr K. Radnetter of Austria.
Bonaparte once again reached the steps: He won third place in the Terrier Group.

- January 29th, 2000 - Castrop-Rauxel - Festival of Breed Dogs



748 dogs had been entered to this Exhibition that was a joint show of the Klub für Terrier e.V. (Club for Terriers), the Deutscher Foxterrier Verband e.V. (German Fox Terrier Association), the Deutscher Club für Bullterrier e.V. (German Club for Bull Terriers), the Deutscher Dalmatiner Club e.V. (German Dalmatian Club) and the Basset-Hound Freunde Deutschland e.V. (Basset Hound Friends of Germany).

The Irish Terriers had been judged by Mr. Dr. Steffen Schock. With the males Irish Oskar of Red Revolution (SG 1) became Best of Youth Class. The CAC was won by Bonaparte von der Emsmühle, who even became Best Dog and Best of Breed starting in the Champion Class. With the bitches Dubliners California won the Junior Class and with the bitches in the Open Class no CAC had been given to Aira vom Akazienhain due to the scoring of SG 1.

"Bester Hund der Ausstellung" (Best in Show).
The final and the terrier group had been judged by Mr Kurt Gendrung (D).


- January 07th, 08th, 09th, 2000 - Paris - Paris Dog Show



As one of the first Shows in Europe, the Paris Dog Show, took place in France having a grand total of 4154 entered dogs of all races. Our breed had an entry 10 dogs (4 dogs and 6 bitches), and M. Dedard Ringuet was the judge.

With the Dogs Chantalle´s Guinness starting in the Open Class won BOB, Best Dog and the CAC. The second place in the Open Class was given to MerryMac Right To The Top scoring a B 2. Teltown King Joe, dog of the Champion Class, won the Reserve CAC.

With the Bitches the Open Class Killorglin nur Brown Mayd won the CAC and second place Golden Harp Oh! La La got the Reserve. In the Champion Class Beddy Gelert Funny Girl scored a V 1. The winning bitch of the Open Class also won the title as Best Bitch.

With the Veteran Class the rating was as follows: Golden Harp Funny Girl a V1 and Golden Harp Honeymoon a V 2.
In the Youth Class there were shown Teltown King Joe (Best of Youth) and Golden Harp Only You.

In the following contest Chantalle´s Guinness won Second Place of the Terrier Group. This group had been judged by M. Lauber.
